Speech and Language Therapy can be recommended if your child is experiencing difficulty with any of the following:
- Speech Sound Development
- Oral-Motor Difficulties
- Speech Delay
- Language Difficulties in both Pre-School Children and School-Age Children
- Specific Language Impairment (SLI)
- Autistic Spectrum Disorders
- Social interaction skills
- Cleft Palate
- Voice Disorders
At the end of this assessment, we will be able to give you an idea of the therapy that is needed to improve this area of speech that your child is finding difficulty in. When we discuss a plan for therapy, you can decide which therapy option is best for your child. You may not choose to visit each week and scheduling can be done every 2 weeks with parents given specific goals to work on between sessions.
Our Clinic also works with Pre-Schools and Primary Schools in:
-Offering a day of Assessments;
-Delivering group therapy;
-Delivering Communication programmes for children and staff.
